Hawke Paint has been built on personal relationships with local Canterbury builders and commercial project management companies, and a no nonsense reputation based on simply doing what we say we will do.

We are active members of Master Painters NZ and are proud to be an accredited Resene Eco Decorator. Currently less than 2% of Resene's painting contractor clients nationally have been invited to participate in this quality standard, which recognizes a high standard of business systems and environmental practices.

Wallpaper is experiencing a strong resurgence.  Advances in manufacturing techniques is providing a vast array of finish options.  Complex designs in patterns and prints, and even three dimensional textured finishes are now widely used.   Whether a full room, or just a feature wall, wallpaper can provide a real “wow” factor to your decorating project.

Jim Cherry, Hawke Paint’s wallpapering “guru” is recognized as one of the best in the game.  Jim is requested personally by some of Christchurch’s leading interior designers such as Trenzseater and Furnishscene.    Jim is supported by other skilled in-house wallpaper installers.
